UCAS arrives early. Work back from the application deadline, not from a vague idea of when you might feel ready.
UK GAMSAT prep without the guesswork.
Applying from the UK has its own rhythm. UCAS comes early, each school has its own rules, and the interview can still change the outcome. This guide keeps the admin clear so you can focus on the score.
For 2027 entry, ACER says UK schools can use March 2025, September 2025, March 2026, and September 2026 results.
The usual UK pattern is degree, GAMSAT, then interview, but each school weights those pieces differently.
We already teach students in the UK. Blueprint is the easiest fit if work, uni, or time zones make live classes harder.
What UK applicants need to sort out first.
The common mistake is treating every UK school as if it uses GAMSAT the same way. It does not. Start with the schools where your score can realistically keep you in the running, then check the rest of the admissions process.
Choose schools early
ACER lists several UK programs that use GAMSAT, but eligibility and home or international status vary by school. Build your shortlist before the application rush.
Build the score first
Your GAMSAT result still decides whether some schools keep reading. This is where a tighter method helps more than another pile of random practice.
Submit UCAS on time
For 2027 entry, ACER lists 15 October 2026 as the UCAS deadline.
Forward scores correctly
ACER says UK applicants must indicate UK selection information and complete score forwarding details by 31 October 2026.

Use this as a first pass for your shortlist, then check the exact rules on each university's site before you apply.
| School | Course code | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| City St George's London | A101 | City St George's says eligible applicants are ranked by GAMSAT and invited to MMI from the highest scores down. |
| Swansea Graduate Entry Medicine | A101 | Swansea publishes a minimum GAMSAT for consideration, then invites the highest scorers to assessment day once annual cutoffs are set. |
| Plymouth Medicine or Dentistry | A100 / A206 | ACER notes Plymouth places strong weight on GAMSAT performance for non-school leaver applicants before interview. |
| Exeter Medicine | A100 | ACER notes Exeter uses GAMSAT heavily for non-school leaver applicants before interview, so a stronger score matters. |
| Chester Medicine | A101 | Graduate-entry route listed by ACER. Confirm current eligibility and home or international status directly with the school. |
| Liverpool Medicine | A100 / A101 | Listed by ACER. Liverpool also has separate degree-class rules noted on ACER's UK admissions page. |
| SCOTGEM St Andrews and Dundee | A101 | Graduate-entry Scottish route with a distributed teaching model. Check whether that format suits how you want to study medicine. |
| Surrey Graduate Entry Medicine | A101 | ACER says applicants who pass preliminary shortlisting and reach the threshold are invited to interview. |
| Ulster Medicine | A101 | Listed by ACER among the schools that may accept some international applicants. Confirm eligibility directly. |
| Worcester Medicine | A101 | Also listed by ACER among schools with international-eligibility exceptions. Check school guidance before applying. |
| Brunel, Keele, Sunderland, Pears Cumbria | Varies | All appear on ACER's UK admissions page. Start with ACER, then verify the school-specific rules on the university site. |
For UK applicants, GAMSAT is often the first gate. The exact gate changes by school. A stronger score simply leaves you with more live options.
How to use Rohan's GAMSAT from the UK.
Start with the part you can control most directly: the score. Once the GAMSAT is competitive, the rest of the application is worth polishing.
Blueprint
Best if you are working full time, studying in the UK, or need a self-paced library you can return to around your own hours.
See Blueprint →Comprehensive
Best if you want a fixed program, live accountability, and essay feedback while you build toward the next sitting.
See Comprehensive →Private tutoring
If Section 3 is the bottleneck, go straight to focused support instead of hoping a broader program solves it by accident.

UK applicant questions
Can I join from the UK?
Yes. Everything is online, and we already work with students in the UK. Blueprint is the easiest option if you need maximum flexibility across time zones.
Do all UK schools use GAMSAT the same way?
No. ACER and school websites show different rules by university. Some rank heavily by GAMSAT before interview. Others combine degree class, GAMSAT, and extra selection criteria.
What is the most important thing to fix first?
Your score. A stronger GAMSAT result keeps more schools open and makes the rest of the application worth working on. We start there: find what the exam is actually rewarding, rebuild the weak spots, and move fast.
What if Section 3 is the only thing holding me back?
Go straight to private tutoring. If S3 is the bottleneck, focused help is often a better use of time than buying a wider course first.
Build the plan around your deadline.
If you are applying from the UK, the right course choice depends on your sitting date, current section scores, and whether you need flexibility or a fixed schedule.
