Section 2

After learning what examiners want and how to structure ideas.

Section 1

Nine points up on their previous Section 1 score.

March is really two exam days

S2 is expected in late February, from home. S1 and S3 follow about three weeks later at a test centre, so your essays need to peak first.

Four phases, with the hours for each

Start at 8 to 10 hours a week and build to 10 to 15 as the exam gets closer. Each phase has one clear job.

ACER hasn't published exact March 2027 dates yet. The plan uses the expected windows. Registrations usually open in November.
